The adventurous side of me decided to try something new last Tuesday and that led me to a sun tanning salon. It was a strange experience that left me burnt.
First I was unable to find the salon because it was located along some god forsaken road and I somehow couldn't connect to GPS to make my life easier. But I eventually found my way there and my first thought was "why does this place have that ultra gay aura?"
I didn't want to make a wasted trip there so I pretty much forced myself to "try something new". It's a good thing that there's a special price for first-timers or I'd probabaly not have given it a try at all.
So after deciding on the cheapest booth, I changed and went got in the booth and I noticed that there was no roof; anybody could peek from above and watch me tan.Aside from that, there was a bar across the booth, above me but I had no idea what that was for.
After taking a shower at night, I noticed that my skin was red and burnt but the sides of my body were strangely untanned. Now I think the bar was for me to grab.

An appointment to make an appointment
I made a trip down to National Skin Centre today as scheduled and I must say that they've made a huge improvement since the last time I was there. They've finally started hiring people (as in actualy people with emotions) to serve you!
Nothing much could be done today, unfortunately, so I did nothing but make another appointment for the allergy testing. Today was more of a consultation. And with even more delays, I'll have to wait even long to get my teeth plucked. Oh well...

1 in 100,000?
I've finally gotten my consultation for my wisdom teeth extraction and turns out that it's not as simple as it would normally be. The last time I had any teeth extracted was something like 6 years ago and that was when I found out that I am strangely allergic to the anaesthetic that is used to numb my gums. The funny thing is that the dentist didn't do anything about it after that because he said that I wasn't going to do any more extractions after that and therefore wouldn't need the injections anymore.
At that time it did make quite some sense to me. Besides, which person in the sane state of mind would think about extracting teeth after getting braces done right? But now that I want to get my wisdom teeth extracted, that tiny little problem that didn't seem to be an issue 6 years ago is the main problem and the deciding factor between having my gums injected again for the extraction, or to put me under GA for the extraction.
Just to be doubly sure of what's going on, the dentist has set up an appointment for me for allergy testing at the horrible place called National Skin Centre. Apparently, he doesn't quite believe that I'm allergic because my symptoms were pretty different, meaning that the reactions I had might have been caused by something else, not the injection; it could have just been a case of conincidence. Besides, only 1 in 100,000 people are allergic so why me?
But then the next problem arises. If you remember, I've been to the National Skin Centre before and I wasn't close to being pleased by their lack of professionalism or their shitty service standard. But, whatever! All I want to do is get my teeth out.

Politics
I really don't get office politics sometimes, especially the kind where people speak ill of you behind your back and act all plastic in front of you. That's what's going on right now and the dumbest part is that I know full well what these people are doing. I guess this can be related to our survival skills and it's just so coincidental that these people are on the verge of retardancy and for me to say something like "I'm educated" would be extremely degrading to their existence.
If things hadn't turned out the way they have, I'd probably have imparted my knowledge and skills to them out of my own kind will and they would have a better chance of surviving the real world. Unfortunately for them, they chose to make me their enemy and bitch about me around my friends who'd do the obvious and tell me what's going on. I wish I could call the act "stupid" but that's not even close enough to describe it.
Aside from that, I've been getting really sick of the double standards some people are living by. Apparently, pride has gotten a little bit too much into their heads and some people are just too high up there to do the simplest of things. Listen up world, no matter how high up there you are, even if you rule the world, you'll be getting verbal slaps from me.

Telephone
I've no idea how they're gonna edit this to be aired. Maybe it's about time censorship just gave in.

It's been AGES
I know it's been AGES since I last updated but I've really been way too busy to update. Actually there isn't much to update anyway since I haven't been having anything of what you would call a 'life'.
Hopefully you aren't suffering the same fate as I am. I really don't know how I ended up this busy. I can't even remember what Spongebob sounds like anymore...

2010!
It's 2010! Freedom suddenly seems so much closer! And if you're expecting me to have a list of resolutions for 2010, forget it. I don't see why I need to have make resolutions just because it's a new year. In fact, I think it's really stupid.
Happy New Year everybody!
